EUROPEAN CAFE BOCA, BOCA RATON, FL.

Dave Goloun was born in Frankfurt, Germany. European Café Boca was established by Goloun two years ago. It is located in the affluent area of downtown Boca Raton.

European Café offers a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for coffee lovers. The walls serve as gallery for local artists. It has lots of space and it is divided in three different areas. The main salon has at least 10 beautiful little wooden tables for costumers. A more private and quiet area is perfect for students and those surfing the web. The patio is perfect for those who want to have a nice breakfast with some fresh air.

I ordered a cappuccino and a veggie omelet with some fruit. The food was delicious. My cappuccino was excellent, it was served at the perfect temperature. It was smooth and very tasty, very illy. Illy is a very famous brand of coffees and this is all they use there. My mom order a cafe Americano with the specialty of the house, Almond Croissant (crisp in the outside with an almond-amaretto filling). My mom (another coffee-lover) said the coffee was so good, it tasted like hers!!!!

I love this kind of places where you can actually talk to the owner. Althought it looks like the famous franchise it has nothing to do with it. The concept is so much different and you can really feel it in the coffee. Every cup is made by the owner with extremely attention. I loved it!!!

I discovered this place a while back and love it. The food is really good, the waitress Kathy is a joy and makes one feel right at home and the coffee, Illy, is the best in the world!

Thanks for the heads up. It sounds like my kind of place and I'm new to the Boca area. :)

Awful. We walked in and ordered a pizza. The waiter told us to take a seat at any table. There were at least 10 open tables and waited for our food. After 20 minutes, the pizza came. We were ready to dig in when the ownere told us "Pizza is to go only." When we asked why, he told us it was to save money. We told him we didn't know the policy and asked him to let us eat our food. We had already payed for it. He called us crazy and kicked us out.

This arrogant owner thinks that his European style is too good for pizza-eaters. He said "This is not a pizzeria", yet he sells more pizza than anything else.

The pizza was overpriced and too greasy.

The bathrooms were filthy and there was no soap.

It is a disgrace to all kosher places.
